Symptoms of Uterine Cancer

Uterine cancer usually occurs after a woman reaches menopause. The most common symptom of uterine cancer is vaginal bleeding or discharge. The bleeding may start as a watery, blood-streaked flow that gradually contains more blood. It’s important to remember that abnormal vaginal bleeding is not a regular part of menopause.

Other symptoms of uterine cancer can include:

  • Difficult or painful urination
  • Pain during intercourse
  • Pain in the pelvic area

Keep in mind that these symptoms can be caused by other conditions that are less serious. However, it’s wise to notify your provider if you experience any of these symptoms.
